Here we go with the last figure to review for series one of this amazing line of World of Warcraft Action Figures and we saved the best for last. The Orc Shaman Rehgar Earthfury is the biggest figure in series one and it doesn't disappoint us in anyway. This figure stands at 7.75 inches and is detailed from head to foot. Check the jump for all the images and review of this heavy hitting Orc.
And don't forget to click on the images for a closer look.
Just by looking at the packaging you can already see the great detail on this figure. It's kind of obvious how big it is compared to the other figures in the line and I really like that all the figures are proportional to each other based on it's race.
Inside you'll see that his cowl is already worn and his weapon.
All in all you get three pieces. The main figure the cowl and the weapon. I really like the material used for the accessories. It's not too fragile or too rubbery.
One of the things I like about this figure is the accessories. Here we have the cowl which is made of wolf fur or the entire wolf I might say.
The colors on the cowl are done with precision down to the colors of the eyes.
If you look closely the wolf had the horde emblem branded on it.
His weapon has been done in great detail. I really like the colors on it which gives it a bit of a rusted and dirty look which adds to it's authenticity.
Here's a 360 turn of the main figure without the accessories. As you can see the details on the sculpting is very good even on the parts that would be covered by the cowl. This guy's got a buff back and would still look great even without all the accessories.
And here's a look with all the the accessories on. The cowl and weapon blends greatly with the main figure. The wolf theme really looks bad ass.
Here's a closer look at the head. The colors on this figure are topnotch, he even has teeth stains.
The shoulder armor is detailed and colored like nobody's business. Like the weapon the shoulder armor has the look and color of battle stains and rust. Giving it an authentic battle ready look.
The pose is one of the best things I like about this figure. It's as if he's displaying power or screaming to the heavens for more power.
As I said this figure is beautifully detailed from head to toe. Even the hands are detailed and colored without any smudge or miss. The colors are where they are supposed to be and look great with the overall design of the figure.
The weapon fit greatly on Rehgar's overall look and feel. Even the colors look real. I'm really glad that the material used for the weapon doesn't feel rubbery or something that would easily snap in half.
I'm going to say it again. The details on this figure is from head to toe. Check out the dirt on the feet. If Azeroth needs a foot model Rehgar would be their guy.
The ornaments on his pants are classic Shaman accessories. It still has the great wolf theme on it. The colors and details are great and you won't see any colors where they shouldn't be. I like the blue cloth hanging around his waist it gives us more colors to look at and it blends well to his overall theme.
I'm beginning to think that scar tattoos are the in thing in Azeroth and I must admit it looks real cool. Rehgar's color is just right. Anyone can easily overdo the green or even make it too light but Rehgar got his just right. You can even see dark spots just to emphasize the curves and muscle on this figure.
Rehgar is definitely my best pick for series one mainly because of the great materials used on his accessories and the precision colors the artists put in. If you still don't have one you might want to go checking out ebay for one or else you'll miss out on one of the best figures DC Unltd has to offer under World of Warcraft.
