Sister Benedron World of Warcraft Action Figure Review
We're on to the next figure in DC Unltd's World of Warcraft Figures and up next we have the Human Priestess Sister Benedron. She has no other appearance and reference to other medias in any official stuff Blizzard has released except for the action figure. This figure stands at 7" at it's highest point and is covered in great design and detail. Check the break for all the great images and review of this great figure.

Before anything else here's a clip from Blizzard's online store:
The Church of the Holy Light has dedicated itself to spreading enlightenment and harmony amongst the population of Azeroth, both human and otherwise. The church's members assist the communities they inhabit with guidance according to the doctrines of the Light and the Three Virtues: respect, tenacity, and compassion. In times of war, the priests are on the front lines, fulfilling a critical support role by healing their compatriots and keeping morale high. Due in no small part to the contributions of the Church of the Holy Light, humanity has remained strong over the decades of turmoil and hardship that have been visited upon it.
Exquisitely sculpted and intricately painted, the Human Priestess: Sister Benedron figure stands at 7" high .

With that over with here's a look at the packaging.

Because this figure stays true to it's proportion to the other figures it's relatively small but in a good way. Inside you'll get four pieces in total. The main figure, a book and the wings. There's also an axe on her back but that doesn't count as another piece since it's chained to the main figure.

Here's the Geek Pinoy traditional turn around without the accessories. This figure is so light and well dressed I might even call her the barbie doll of the entire Warcraft Action figure line. Except for the holes on her right palm and back this figure would look great without all the accessories, I just wish the axe was placed on her side rather than her back.

The accessories look great and are well sculpted. Except for the pages of the book which is basically a sticker but it still looks good though. I just hope it doesn't peel off when this gets old. The wings are simple enough and goes well with the overall color theme of gold and white.

Here's the turn around of the figure with all the accessories on. The pose looks great, I think mainly because of the wings. I'm still not liking the position of the axe, I really think it would look better on the side. Unfortunately I can't move it to the side because of the chains. She looks like she's casting an area of effect spell, which reminds me of Vindicator Maarad's pose. According to WoW Wiki she seems to be wearing a stylized version of the Avatar Set. They weren't kidding when they said it was stylized, if Barbie was to visit Azeroth I think this is what she'd wear.

The best thing I like about her is that she's in Shadowform. Here's a definition of what that means in World of Warcraft from WoWGoldMVP:
The Basics - Shadowform
Shadowform is the exact opposite of healing and represents the Priest’s affinity with death. Shadowform is the choice for those Priests who wish to do DPS. Once activated the Priest will turn dark in color, in essence becoming one with the shadows. Shadowform increases the Priest’s Shadow damage, reduces all damage to the Priest, and also reduces the threat generated. It also grants the periodic damage from Shadow Word: Pain, Devouring Plague, and Vampiric Touch spells the ability to critically hit for 100% increased damage.
In simpler terms when she's in this form she can bring the pain on anyone. Here's a closer look at her face, I'm pretty sure she's beautiful out of shadowform but this looks way bad ass. The hood is just the right size which lets you see her face but enough to cover parts of it. I'm really digging the blue eyes.

The arms are covered in great detail with a little bit of cracks or stone texture on the armor. From what I'm seeing I think the armor is supposed to be made of some kind of white stone or ceramic material. Either way it's the best looking armor I've seen in the line. I'm not sure why but the armor on the left arm seems to be colored differently from the other parts. It looks more like off white rather than just white like the other parts.

The shoulder plates look plain but thanks to the gold lining it still looks great on her. Plus you get a good view of the somewhat stone texture I was talking about.

I've always been a fan of stuff with wings, specially angel wings and Sister Benedron is no exception to that. She's actually a great example of simple wings with a great design. Although when you insert the wings they feel kind of wobbly and easily detach when tapped.

The design of the armor on the torso is very elegant. If somebody made a real life replica of this it would rock. Assuming that you have enough gold to do all those accents and linings. The chains do a great job of adding more variation to the design of the figure.

Here's the axe on her back. I can't stress enough that it should've been on her side rather than completely on her back. Or am I just missing the point here?

The design and colors of the skirt are very detailed. I'm glad the black colors didn't smudge over to the gold lining unlike the one we saw on Meryl Felstorm.

The shoes look great and probably would sell if made into sizes women can wear.

Sister Benedron is another example of great details and colors. She may be light and relatively small compared to most of the figures in the line but her great design and accessories clearly make up for that. And considering she's in shadowform I really don't think somebody playing priest class would want to miss having this figure. It's elegantly bad ass.

Update: Apparently she's not in shadowform. It's just the armor doing all the black stuff to her body. Thanks to the anonymous tipster!

She is not in shadowform. Avatar set just makes your face look like that, regardless of your specialisation.

But anyway, great figure, great review.

Yep, one of the best looking priest tiers: http://static.wowhead.com/uploads/screenshots/normal/158790.jpg

But you can clearly see a step up in details between ingame model and a figure.

That's what I really like in those figures.
