Hacking the GSIS Site Will Only Fuel the Fear of Automated Elections

Friday, April 23, 2010

I guess nobody from the government really listens. After DOH, TESDA and DSWD sites got defaced or hacked, GSIS followed suit. Lucky for GSIS site admins (or "noob" as the hacker so eloquently put it) no damage was done to their site's data. The hacker just put in a couple of notes even asking the noob admin to improve the security of their site. I'm all for improving the security of our Government's sites but this sort of thing will only fuel the fear of failure of elections and the "digital Garci" everyone's panicking about. I just hope we put in site admins that are really worth our hard earned tax money. Check the break for more.

Just click the image for a closer look, you can also check out the source link to see the whole defacement. Now if we can only get Mr. XXXX to answer a couple questions.
