Assassins Creed Brotherhood Trailer - Isn't About Stealth Killing As It Used To Be

Watch Assassins Creed Brotherhood Trailer

I've never actually played Assassins Creed and from what I hear it's a very cool game especially when you're into all that stealth ninja killing techniques you've always wanted to master since you were a little psychotic kid. Now it seems like everyone is anticipating the next sequel to the franchise, Assassins Creed Brotherhood is set to be released this November 16th and I'm pretty sure a lot of hardcore fans are already getting their killing groove on. Though the trailer we have after the break is no match for Bioshock Infinite's graphics I'm pretty sure a lot of people really don't care. But what do I know right? I haven't even played Assassins Creed ever.

I've finished both Assassin's Creed and Assassin's Creed II. They're pretty awesome games. Actually, they are two of the greatest games I've ever played because of the story line and some of the details are even based on real history.

I'd like to comment on that trailer and your review about it. First of all, stealth killing is only an option in playing Assassin's Creed. But most of the time, you'll end up killing your main targets through public assassinations because of their freakin' guards, which are always with them.

Second, the enemy of Ezio Auditore in this trailer is Rodrigo Borgia, a.k.a Pope Alexander VI and his son, Cesare Borgia. Who could get near enough to the Pope without even getting noticed? So maybe, he didn't even bother trying to stealth assassinate the Pope and his son. And besides, I've read something about Cesare Borgia killing Ezio's uncle Mario Auditore, plus the Pope was behind his father's and brothers' deaths, so we can't really blame him for being so enraged as to go in front of his target. Ezio knew that together with the other assassins, they have more than enough ability to do the job.

Oh and lastly, and most importantly, the word assassin in the Assassin's creed doesn't necessarily mean someone like a ninja or someone who does stealth killing.

As the Assassin's Creed states: Nothing is true, everything is permitted.

Sorry I didn't even bother watching this trailer. It turns out it's a new one. I thought it was the old one. But some of what I said are still relevant so you get the picture of where I'm getting at. :)

@JohnnyQ - Here I was thinking you were reading my posts. Hehe... =) Nice insights JohnnyQ I just wish I had the time to play that game.

:) haha. Thanks! It's a really great game. The gameplay is nice and don't even get me started about the graphics. It's absolutely stunning.

The storyline is very long though. If you get caught up with the story like I did, that's gonna be a good thing. But if you don't like the story at all, the game, especially Assassin's Creed 2, will frustrate you because of its vast world and endless quests.

It's really similar to GTA, except the setting is in the Renaissance period in rome. :)

@JohnnyQ - I'm sure I'll be easily addicted to it... that's why I'm resisting the urge to play it or else I won't be able to do anything else but play it.
