Warcraft Figures Series 7

A lot of peeps have been nice enough to tell us that Warcraft Series 7 is already available locally and have been asking if we already have the entire set. I just want everybody to know that we already have the whole set and are now scheduling unboxing and review sessions. Please bear with us as we're kind of busy with our real life jobs, you know, the stuff that let's us buy these figures in the first place. Warcraft Action Figures Series 7 is by far the most expensive set yet, I'm really not sure why but it looks like demand is getting pretty high for these figures therefore an increase in the price. It would really be nice if we can get some sponsors to help us buy these figures, so if you know someone that's interested in all this geekery please do let us know. For now let me go ahead and show you a video of the Lich King Deluxe Figure sent over to us by our dear friend webcube after the break.

Our trusty friend over at Comic Quest mentioned the Lich King figure will be available around next week so my wallet's probably going to bleed even though they haven't determined the price yet.

Oh yes! I'm liking the ice base!!! Usually the plain black base ruins the figure but now that they've decided to make it environment-like I'm completely satisfied. Hope they continue doing this with the following deluxe figures!

Comparison between 4 orcs (Rehgar Thrall Garona and coming soon Garrosh) Thrall is the tallest and as big as Garrosh, i think.

To "Jab" I was follow many of your reviews Thanks for photograph and review. Im look foward to see it more and more :D Great Job!

Im in Thailand and not lucky enough to have WoW figure popurarity (compare to Japs figure :( ) so It's quite hard to find there figures in toy shop, poor me T^T.

@dwaftman - thanks for the support. Too bad Warcraft Figures aren't popular there. Hopefully it'll catch on so you can also collect these great figures.

@Jab Now I owned 5 figures Vindicator Maraad , Thrall , Rehgar , Magni and Korg Hihgmountain :D Now I've got a plan for 3 Wow figures: Lich king, Garrosh and Taz'dingo. (also have got a plan for Starcraft too,Its make my money quickly evaporate) But the only way to get these is ordering from USA T-T but my country have very high tax rate, around 30% and +7%vat.
So sorry about my complain :( and hopefully you'll have a free time to review series 7 soon, I'll be wating :D

@dwaftman - I'll be reviewing the Worgen figure later after I finish posting a couple of stuff. Hopefully I can post it tonight. Thanks!

@Jab I have some quetion. Do you think figure shop you've bought has an international shipment? such Thailand? Could I order from there bcoz i think its not too far (as America) and if it available i think it'll be cheaper or it's cheaper to order directly from USA than your country?

Thank in advance :D

jab said...

@dwaftman - hhhmmm... I'm not actually sure... I think it would eventually cost the same or even more because our retailers here get it from the US too, so I think the price would go up twice before they send it to you.

@Jab Aha I see Thanks alot ;)

@dwaftman

try to look at ebay.
There are some guys from china that sells warcraft figures. quite cheap and also low shipping cost

Jab said...

@anonymous - i think that's very risky since we've been seeing a lot of fake figures pop up lately. The cheaper it is the more cautious you should be.

Anonymous said...

@Jab,

Just be cautious, Try to look for reviews first. I know one who really sell authentic stuffs.

It's not that cheap,
around $15 - $20 for old releases.

And also try bigbadtoystore in the US. The shipping is quite expensive but sometimes the item is cheap especially if it's on clearance

Jab said...

@anonymous - that's very good advise. Big Bad Toy Store is actually one of our sponsors this month. If you can please put in a name so we can recognize you. Thanks!

@Anonymous Thank you :D I had order Thrall and Magni form blizzard store (US) last month but series 7 and lich king are not yet available :( Its cheaper both of product cost and shipping cost and moreover its from trustworthy original manufacture!!. I would like to suggest you should try CornerStoreComic.com its cheaper good service international shipment and can be trust. I will order Lich king from this shop around this weekend (In-stock now).

@dwaftman - CornerStoreComic.com - I think you put in the wrong address. the right one has an "S" at the end so it's supposed to be CornerStoreComicS.com. Thanks for sharing! I'm checking the store out now.

My name is Josh, with Blizzard's Customer Services department. We don't currently have an estimate as to when new action figures may be added to the online store. We'll be sure to put up an announcement on the store when we do!

I Just received mine and to be honest. I'm so disappointed. Compared to all Deluxe figure. Lich King is the smallest where he should be the Largest or atleast the same size with Vindicator. I started to collect WOW figures from Series 1 and this is the worst figures that i have seen from WOW line. I didn't even like the color of Series 7 figures. It lacks shadowing (it the same with the color of the toys that you get inside a cereal box. Specially the female Orc). I was amazed with series 6 that i find the best series they released and i thought i will be more surprised with the next series but i was wrong. I don't know what happened with DC but I hope they will improve their work on their next series.

@anonymous - I agree it feels like DC Unltd's getting lazy.

@Anonymous

I will have to disagree with the comment about Arthas' size. I think his size is perfect since he was just a human before he became the Lich King. Unless I missed something, turning into an undead shouldn't make you grow 2-3 times taller than you originally were.

But of course, if you want to really make it accurate to the WoW game, then the Lich King would have to be at least twice as tall as the Tauren, because that's how big he is in the game. Of course, if they really made him that big, I'd find it kinda silly.
