I always knew that directors and even animators had some sort of rough sketch of what they wanted to happen in a scene before actually shooting everything. I thought it was just a couple of story boards with some drawings but turns out they sometimes commission some rough animations just to see how everything looks before they decide if it's good enough to cram into a movie or something like that. A great sample of such a thing is this Iron Man action sequence that didn't make it to the Avengers movie. I don't know why it didn't make it as it had some great actions scenes with a super powered cyborg of some sort. I guess it ws too much exposure for Iron Man in a movie that's got other heroes to attend to. Anyways, go ahead and watch the whole thing after the break and just use your imagination to fill it with color and stuff.
