It's kind of hard to actually convey a specific tone of emotion when you actually send out a formal email to a co-worker or probably your boss. Specially when you're used to texting all those LOL's and LMAO shorthands with friends and sorority chicks you hang out with. One such dilemma can be is actually summarized in this animated short film from Domics where he illustrates the troubles of his thought process when he answers a seemingly simple email from a coworker. It's actually a great way to have a couple of giggles in the next few minutes of your boring life so go ahead and watch it after the break if you have nothing better to do.

Remember Business English in college? I'm really kinda wonder about the new curriculum these days. Before there are dogmas on how to write a formal business letter or application letter. But now, I notice it's okay to write--include--any words and emoticons you want in emails, this includes business letters.
Technology getting crazier and crazier these days.
Yeah... I guess people don't need to be that formal with letters and emails anymore with the way we communicate nowadays...
