Companies Should Have Better Help Desks

It's not easy to get great help nowadays specially with companies moving on to outsourcing their help desks that offer supposedly great help for better company savings. Like that certain ISP and telecommunications company we have here. It's really hard to get a day's worth of Facebook status updates without seeing a friend rant about the crappy service they got from a customer service agent. Instead of just calling a service center I hope these companies would have some sort of online helpdesk that we can just send requests or stuff we need help with and they'll just get back to users promptly with an answer that really helps. I know we have some kind of online service from these companies but I think they rarely reply to people if at all. Maybe they need to get something like the Zoho Help Desk to get things going. It's absolutely free and from what I understand the starter pack offers the basic tools they would need to help customers and ultimately improve their own services. I know most of us here are accustomed to talking and calling the customer service line but if we aren't getting any sensible help through that maybe companies should start moving on to new ways to help their clients and I guess with people always ranting on social media outlets we can safely assume that their always online and can probably be contacted that way or use an online service much faster than talking to somebody that barely has any idea what they're doing in the first place.
