Vader Vs Aliens - Who Would Win?

Sunday, July 04, 2010

I wish they'd turn this into a freaking movie. Tickets would probably sell like ice on a hot desert. Great work from a collaboration of three artists from deviantART. Now somebody make Yoda vs Predators! Please?

Star Wars Talking Plushies - The Force Is Soft and Cuddly!

Sunday, July 04, 2010

Want to start your kids on the hobby of collecting? The Star Wars Plushies by Underground Toys is a great set for any young collector to start with. I never thought the force was so soft and cuddly. The best about these plushies is they can also talk, yup each plushie in the set has a few words they can say to that little collector of yours. For now the set will transform Darth Vader, Yoda, Chewbacca and R2-D2 to those adorable 8.5 inch little softies. Check the break for a look at the other plushies in the set.

Star Wars Pixar Mashup - Because Sci-Fi Never Looked So Adorable

Wednesday, June 30, 2010

I've always been a fan of Pixar's animated films, there's just so many worlds to explore when you find yourself watching those CG animated characters. I also like Star Wars but not to the point I freak out my friends and relatives. So imagine how glad I was when I saw these Pixar/Star Wars Mashup from an artist named Sillof. The drawings aren't really mind blowing and Sillof made it clear that he wasn't good at it too since he's mostly into sculpting, but this is one of the things where you barely need the skills because the idea itself is enough to be a hit. He's also planning to make figures out of these so let's hope he shares the images too. I'm loving the Yodawski mashup by the way. There's a lot more drawings after the break if you want to keep yourself entertained. Check on the source link too for all of Sillof's great work.

Chewbacca Back Buddy - In Case You Want A Dead Wookie On Your Back

Wednesday, June 30, 2010

Ok, I don't why but this thing creeps me out. It really looks like you have a dead wookie on your back. Especially when you try to put your stuff in it. Star Wars taxidermy really is freaking awesome. If you're into dead wookies or anything furry on your back then this might be the back pack you've been waiting for. The Chewbacca back pack won't get PETA angry at you and I'm sure a lot of Star Wars fans are gonna love you for having this on your back. It's currently selling for USD 40.00 over at EntertainmentEarth if you find it all cute and cuddly.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II Trailer! Darth Vader is Hunted By His Own Apprentice

Monday, June 14, 2010

With E3 well on it's way LucasArts just released the official trailer to "Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II". While it doesn't show actual gameplay footage it gives us a glimpse of the story line. It looks like Darth Vader just threw away an apprentice and a great one too. As he hacked and slashed through a whole army of Stormtroopers and a couple of giant robots. The trailer is around 4 minutes long, but it's well worth the time if your into a lot of light sabers and aggressive application of the force. Check it out when you take the jump.

These Star Wars pancake molds will complete that lame breakfast you always have with simple instructions and a little guidance from the force your breakfast will surely be the envy of your geek friends. Assuming they have time to go out of their Mom's basement. Check the break for more details and one more shot.

Star Wars Monster Bobble Heads! Because Action Figure Variants Make Money

Tuesday, May 18, 2010

Here's another way to bleed more money out of us geeks, get your favorite collectible figures and create variants everyone needs to have to sleep well at night. Don't get me wrong, I love these Star Wars Monster Mashup from Entertainment Earth. There's something about a Gargoyle Yoda that shouts out to me. Or maybe seeing an evil version of Yoda really is a great bobble head. In any case you can get these for USD 17 or around PHP 800 a piece. Check the break to see Darth Vader and a Skeleton Storm Trooper.

Star Wars Lightsaber Chopsticks Will Pick Up Your Food When the Force Isn't Working

Sunday, April 18, 2010

Geeks will always find a way to integrate Star Wars into their lives and these Lightsaber Chopsticks are a testament to that. The Darth Maul Lightsaber Chopsticks also join together to form Darth's ever popular lightsaber staff which can help you pick up that sushi when the force isn't really cooperating with you. Sells for about 10USD for each pair which is about 470PHP of your hard earned currency. Check the source link for more variations including Luke Skywalker's Green Lightsaber.

LEGO Star Wars Watch Now in Adult Sizes! Geeks Rejoice!!!

Wednesday, March 10, 2010

LEGO Star Wars Watches are now available in adult sizes and are priced around $20 - 30$. You can pre-order right now and expect it to arrive around April 1st. Though most of the styles are only available in kid sizes I'm sure we adults are mature enough to understand right? But when you hear that the adult watches don't come with the complimentary Star Wars minifigs that go with the kid sizes that's pushing it too far. This is totally unfair and I'm going to tell my Mommy!
