Where's The Pizza? - Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Movie Trailer

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Movie Trailer

So apparently Michael Bay's still out there making movies for us geeks that grew up watching cartoons all afternoon. We all know Transformers was a huge success until they made a ton of it and we eventually got sick of all the plot holes and repetitive action scenes and whatnot. This time we're going to be seeing another cartoon come to life with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles live action movie. I'm kind of weirded out about Megan Fox taking the role of April O'Neil because of all the bad mouthing she did on Michael Bay during their run on the Transformers franchise. But anyways, I'm pretty sure a lot of us will still watch this when it hits the big screen and I'm hoping to see a lot of the action and probably some pizzas to boot. I just hope they don't mess up the sequel when they decide to make another one.

This Feels Like A Comedy To Me - Hercules Trailer

Hercules Trailer

I'm not really sure how I should feel about Dwayne Johnson playing Hercules. I know he's a great actor and all but I kind of remember him in comedic action roles and not really for the serious ones. Just look at that face on the banner above. Can you really say that's Hercules? Not being racist here, but I thought Hercules was supposed to be white and not that rugged of a warrior. Not that I'm an expert on anything but I guess I usually expect something funny when he's acting in a movie or something like that. Anyways, we all just have to find out when the movie hits the big screens.

Diablols: Reaper Of Souls Animated Parody

The adorable animated stylings of Carbot Animations is back and now they're celebrating the release of Diablo: Reaper of Souls expansion with an animated parody of the intro cinematic. Now I'd go ahead and play Diablo on the PC but I'm stuck playing Hearthstone all day and I barely even have time to sleep and blog not to mention real life work that pays the bills. Anyways, I'd probably wait for the PS3 version since I already have level 60 characters hanging there in the first place. But if I manage to find more time I'd probably go for the PC version so I have more people to play with. Anyways, for now let's just go ahead and watch the parody after the break. I have to note that the ending made me laugh so hard and only people playing Diablo would understand it.

Sci-Fi Overload In One Movie - Jupiter Ascending Trailer

Jupiter Ascending Trailer

It's been a couple of weeks since I last posted something on this blog. I kind of wanted the first geeky thing I post again to be something I really liked and luckily I was able to find this new movie starring Mila Kunis. It has spaceships, assassins, high tech gadgets and even dragons. So basically I just found a geeky motherload of a movie. It also stars Channing Tatum for all you girls out there so it's gonna be a win win for most of us mere mortals. Anyways, Jupiter Ascending is produced by the guys that brought us The Matrix Trilogy so I'm pretty sure they know how to make this into a cool Sci-Fi movie. Now if only July was close by (yes, I did a rhyme there) we'd be losing less sleep due to the excitement. But for now all we can do is watch the trailer after the break.

4 Tips for Building A Great Business Website

Saturday, March 29, 2014

Creating a website for your business isn't the same as starting a blog or a personal page. The customers need to come first, and that means shaping and designing your virtual presence in very specific ways.

So what should you do to build a solid business-class website? Here are four ideas.

1: Know What Your Customers Want To See

Your front page should function as a portal to whatever your customers are seeking. If you're a lawyer, it should have your address and phone number prominently displayed for new clients; if you're an online retailer, you'll want links to your catalogue ready to go for shoppers. Don't make people jump through hoops to reach the meat of your site. You run the risk of losing their business if they decide you're not worth the trouble.

Them Fighting Words - Sesame Street Fighter Game

Sesame Street Fighter Game

Remember that Sesame Street Fighter mashup we posted a while back? Well somebody decided to turn it into a real game of some sort. It's not actually your typical fighting game where you do combos off of a combination of directional keys plus punch and kick buttons, this time it's more like a typing game with those silly characters punching and kicking each other when you type in letters of the word on your side. Eventually your character will do a fancy move if you manage to spell out the entire word correctly. It's not really a stellar game but you can spend time on it if you have nothing better to do with your life at the moment. Go ahead and check it out at the source link below.

In Case You're Interested - Honest Trailers: Gravity

Sunday, February 23, 2014

http://www.geekpinoy.com/2014/02/honest-trailers-gravity.html

So I recently told a friend of mine about an idea I had for a YouTube channel. While trying to explain everything I asked her if she'd seen Honest Trailers channel, to my surprise she has no idea what I was talking about. So what does that have to do with me posting about Honest Trailer's latest video? Nothing, absolutely nothing. Just posting random thoughts I needed to get out of my head since nobody's reading this blog anyway. So with that out of the way I have to here's the mandatory SPOILER ALERT warning that the interwebs needs to see before going into a movie's plot or anything like that. I actually haven't watched the movie Gravity for fear that it will just make me feel sad to see people floating in space. I kind of already made up my mind that floating in space is generally fun so I tend to stay away from stuff that says otherwise. I like how Gus Fring managed to be in the movie. You didn't see him? Well the video after the break will open your eyes.
